All About Us Early Beginnings Preschool Program is committed to providing a creative, high-quality developmentally appropriate curriculum that affords the teacher and children the opportunity to have fun and enjoy the learning process while engaging in creative integrated hands-on learning activities that encompasses the whole child.

Philosophy of Program

The Early Beginnings Curriculum is based on the philosophy that young children learn best in an environment that affords them the opportunity to explore, discover, and enjoy the learning process. Our curriculum is based upon the belief that children need to experience child-directed and teacher-directed activities each day through the use of an integrated curriculum. Children learn best if they have the opportunity to know something in a variety of ways. Early Beginnings Curriculum reflects this philosophy of learning.

Who We Are

Early Beginnings Preschool Program was founded in 1994 by Dr. Melissa MacNeal. The program is the result of the culmination of over 25 years of experience in the field of Early Childhood Education and the personal first hand knowledge and input from literally hundreds of other professionals over the years. Countless hours of writing and research have gone into the creation of the curriculum by Dr. MacNeal and her staff to ensure that the program is developmentally appropriate for children 2 1/2 - 5 years of age.

Today, Early Beginnings supplies educational materials to children from 2 1/2 - 5 years of age in all fifty states as well as international customers. It is the only program in the industry that is headed by a Ph.D. in Early Childhood Education. Our customers include child development centers, family day care programs, public and private preschools, church-based preschools, community child development program and more.

Program Goals

Our goal is to enhance the development of readiness skills through our learning materials in an enriched learning environment, promote family involvement through program activities, and encourage the development of creativity; all of which helps to build a successful foundation for early learning.
